Bring your family to explore the beautiful city of Greendale, Indiana. With our 7 parks and community garden, there is a little something to do for everyone! Enjoy a pick up game of basketball, tennis, baseball or pickleball at our city park. Relax by doing some fishing at Schnebelt pond or by having a picnic with your family at one of our many shelters. Whatever your pleasure, we would love to have you visit our tree city!
Schnebelt Pond is located on Nowlin Avenue between Cora Avenue and Arthur Streets. It features a 0.3 mile paved walking trail, a pond for fishing or viewing purposes, a playground, and a shelter area (that can be rented- click here for more information on renting).

Danny Miller Park is located on Sunset Drive near Dearborn Court and features a playground area.

Homestead Park is the newest of our parks and is still under construction. This park is located at the Corner of Dorman & Wayne Avenue. It features a playground and a shelter area (that can be rented).

The Greendale Community Garden is located on Ludlow Street across from the Greendale Police Department. This park currently features the community garden, but plans to add additional items are on the horizon.

Heroes Memorial Park is located on Ridge Avenue next to the Cook Park. The Heroes Park features a memorial site honoring our local safety departments: Police, Fire and EMS along with our veterans. Bricks displayed at the memorial can be purchased for $45 honoring our veterans, family and friends.

Cook Park is located on Ridge Avenue near Broadway Street. Cook Park features a memorial site and beautiful sitting area.
