City of Greendale

Garden Club

Greendale's very own garden club is the cornerstone to maintaining and enhancing the natural beauty our Tree City boasts.

A Donation to the Greendale Garden Club is a Beautiful Thing!

For three decades, the Greendale Garden Club and its members have endeavored to make our city even better. We have received national recognition for our floral displays and work hard to create beauty throughout the community. Volunteers use your donations to plant the stunning containers that grace the street corners, parks, and public buildings. Every plant is a result of the generosity of Greendale families and businesses.

Last season, we planted just over 160 containers on street signs, in parks and at public buildings. We also partner with the Greendale Cemetery Association and the Greendale Housing Authority to beautify their properties. It 's a huge undertaking, and your contribution makes it possible. We've come a long way since our inception, when we started our program by hanging just 10 baskets on Ridge Avenue.
Show your support in 2022 by becoming a sponsoring member for just $10 per family or $30 for corporate membership. If you have time, lend a hand in one of the club's special projects.

Membership forms and plant sale forms are available at City Building, 500 Ridge Avenue and Utility Department, 510 Ridge Avenue. You can pick up a form or download and print a form below. Once completed, send in the form and check (payable to Greendale Civic Garden Club or G.C.G.C.) to:
